Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a seasoned and strategic Client Relationship and Development person to manage the firm’s growth initiatives. This role is responsible for formulating and executing client relationship and development strategies, brand positioning, client engagement, and campaigns. Experience working in a Chartered Accountancy (CA) firm / consulting company is mandatory, with a deep understanding of the professional services landscape, client dynamics, and compliance-sensitive development.
Work Responsibility
Drive Pune location initiatives across service lines (audit, tax, advisory, etc.).
Identify and pursue new opportunities through strategic alliances, and client engagements.
Build strong relationships with CXOs, promoters, investors, and other key stakeholders.
Lead proposal development, client pitches, and negotiations for mandates.
Track and analyse BD performance metrics and refine strategies accordingly.
Develop and lead the overall brand strategy aligned with firm goals.
Plan and oversee content creation, campaigns, events, and digital presence, adhering to ICAI guidelines.
Position the firm as a thought leader through targeted industry insights, webinars, publications, and conferences.
Coordinate with partners and practice leaders for sector-specific marketing initiatives.
Work closely with Partners, Practice Heads, to align internal and external messaging.
Manage vendor relationships related to PR, digital marketing, design, and event management.
Technical / Functional / Soft Skills Required
Education: MBA (Marketing/Strategy) or equivalent qualification.
A background in Finance or Chartered Accountancy is a strong advantage.
Minimum 03 to 07 years of relevant experience with mandatory experience in CA firms or other professional services environments.
Proven success in driving business growth, client acquisition, and relationship leadership.
Deep understanding of the regulatory and ethical constraints around client acquisition for CA firms.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
