Purpose Of Job:

To ensure direct tax compliance, provide tax advisory and planning, optimize tax efficiency, manage assessments and audits, and support the business through effective tax risk management and regulatory compliance.

Work Responsibility:

• Prepare and file TDS/TCS returns (Forms 24Q, 26Q, and 27EQ) accurately and within statutory timelines.
• Perform validation checks before filing TDS/TCS returns, including lower/nil deduction certificates, PAN validation, threshold limits, Section 206AB compliance, and TRACES portal functionalities.
• Analyze and resolve TDS demand notices through appropriate rectification and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with TDS provisions, including Sections 194Q, 194R, 194O, 206AB, and other applicable provisions.
• Prepare Forms 15CA and 15CB for foreign remittances and ensure compliance with DTAA and withholding tax provisions.
• Maintain accounting records and generate financial reports using Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Prepare computation of income for companies and high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), and file income tax returns.
• Prepare and file Tax Audit Reports, ensuring compliance with all relevant clauses under the Income-tax Act.
• Handle income tax assessments, notices, and departmental correspondence.
• Prepare Form 3CEB and support transfer pricing compliance, where applicable. Keep abreast of changes in direct tax laws and ensure timely implementation of regulatory updates

Technical / Functional / Soft Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of Direct Tax laws, TDS/TCS compliance (including Sections 194Q, 194R, 194O & 206AB), ITRs, Tax Audit, DTAA, Forms 15CA/15CB & 3CEB, with proficiency in the Income Tax Portal, TRACES, and Tally ERP/Tally Prime.
• Ability to manage end-to-end tax compliance, including TDS/TCS return filing, tax audits, income tax return preparation, assessment proceedings, demand rectification, foreign remittances, and tax advisory while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and effective communication and stakeholder management skills to handle tax matters efficiently and meet statutory deadlines.
