Role Overview

We are looking for a Statutory Audit Associate who will support audit engagements by executing audit procedures, reviewing financial records, and ensuring compliance with applicable standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a strong foundation in audit, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in execution of statutory audit assignments including planning and reporting
• Perform audit procedures such as vouching, ledger scrutiny, analytical review, and financial statement verification
• Evaluate internal controls and identify risks, ensuring proper documentation of audit findings
• Prepare and maintain audit working papers in line with professional standards
• Coordinate with clients for data collection, queries, and audit requirements
• Support in resolving audit-related queries and drafting responses
• Guide and review work of articles/trainees where required
• Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining quality standards

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Ind AS/AS, auditing standards, and Companies Act
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, and accounting software
• Understanding of audit processes, internal controls, and risk assessment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work extended hours during peak audit periods
